Route From Chennai to Resort
National Highway 45 from Chennai takes you till Ulundurpettai, from there you will have to branch off on the road leading to Salem. A further southward diversion at the main town of Attur, will lead to Malliakarai, Namagiripettai and Belukkuruchi, at the foot of the Kolli hills. If approaching from Salem, you can take the Rasipuram-Namakkal road via Kalappanayakanpatti, and reach Nadukombai from where the ghat road begins.

from Salem Take right to Namakkal- Madurai Highway, travel 40kms. (Nammakal is 55kms from the right turn). In Pudanchanthai Take a left, reach Sendamangalam ( 7Kms)
Sendamangalam to Karavalli (Base) 6kms

The nearest railway station to Kollimalai is Salem 100kms. From there you will have to take cab, taxi or bus.
By air:
The nearest Airport is in Tiruchirapalli, 90kms from Kollimallai.
Perfect time to visit
Kolli Hills is a hill station that is relatively untouched by tourism and the climate in the area is extremely pleasant. The hill station is surrounded by greenery and even summers are pleasant and mild. Kolli Hills gets rainfall during the monsoon and the winters are also extremely pleasant. It is possible to visit the hills throughout the year except during some months. Landslides are also possibility due to the monsoon rains.
Summers are pleasant and cool and the temperatures rarely rise above 30°C. Summer temperatures vary from a minimum of 18°C and can rise up to 30°C. Summer months are from March to May. This is a good time to visit the place.
Monsoon season is from June to October. However Kolli Hills gets most of its rainfall from the North East monsoon during the month of October. Many small waterfalls and streams can be seen during the monsoon season and the entire area is peaceful and calm.
Winter season is from the month of December to February. Temperatures range from a minimum of 13°C and a maximum of 18°C. This is a good time visit the place and travelers are advised to bring protective clothing.
